The sun is starting to come out more, and although we're not quite "buns out" on the beach (yet), Aaliyah and I are loving walks and park trips after work and on weekends! I really missed the sun, and Aaliyah loves being out and about. This is gonna be an active Summer for us because Aaliyah is also at a good age to be a tag along for hikes and beach trips, and she is so close to actually walking now, that she will be able to run around and enjoy more as soon as she can (fingers crossed that is at 14 months). I'm really looking forward to the coming months!
It's so weird because now that Aaliyah is 1 (13 months today, actually), it feels like she changed so much overnight! She is growing super quick physically; she's taller, she's growing into her face, her little head is getting bigger 😂 (it just means you are super intelligent, Aaliyah). She's experiencing new emotions, like fear, for example. And, unfortunately, she is still experiencing a lot of separation anxiety which is hard on me, but normal. My favorite thing is that she is "talking" a lot. She babbles and can say more words. Also, she understands what "no" means, and "hot" too haha. She just understands a lot. So fun to talk to her and have her complete a request or understand what you're trying to tell her. It's funny when she straight up says no when she doesn't want something too. She's super silly.
